Refund Policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026 · Effective: 20 April 2026

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for paid LandTable subscriptions. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all purchases made through our payment processor, Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every LandTable subscription (see section 5 of our Terms of Service).

1. 14-day cooling-off period

If you are a new customer purchasing a paid LandTable subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, no questions asked. This period mirrors the statutory cooling-off period afforded to consumers in the UK and EU under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), and we extend it to all customers regardless of location.

Refund requests made within the 14-day window are processed without deduction. Your subscription is cancelled at the time the refund is issued, and your workspace returns to the Free tier.

2. Renewal charges

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. We will email a renewal reminder before each renewal where required by law. If a renewal charge is taken and you no longer wish to use the paid plan, contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge for a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the new period, calculated on a daily basis from the date of your refund request.

Cancelling your subscription mid-period through the in-product billing settings or Creem's customer portal stops the next renewal but does not automatically refund the remainder of the current paid period — you keep paid-plan access until the end of that period, after which your workspace reverts to the Free plan. If the mid-period cancellation falls within either of the windows in section 1 (new-purchase cooling-off) or this section (renewal window), a refund is still available on request.

3. Annual subscriptions

For annual subscriptions, the 14-day cooling-off period in section 1 applies in full. Outside that window, we may at our discretion offer a pro-rata refund for the unused months of a yearly plan, less any discount applied at the time of purchase relative to the equivalent monthly price.

4. What is not eligible for a refund

  • Charges older than 14 days that fall outside the renewal window described in section 2 (except where required by law);
  • One-off add-ons, overage charges, or usage-based fees that have already been consumed;
  • Accounts terminated by us for breach of the Terms of Service (for example, abuse, chargeback fraud, or violation of acceptable use);
  • Currency conversion losses or third-party bank fees applied by your card issuer or bank.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund, please email billing [at] landtable.io from the email address associated with your LandTable account and include:

  • Your account email and workspace name;
  • The Creem transaction ID or invoice number (found on the receipt Creem emailed you, or in the customer portal linked from that email);
  • A brief reason for the refund request (optional within the 14-day cooling-off period).

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. The refund is issued by Creem to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a further 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Creem as Merchant of Record

Creem is the Merchant of Record for every LandTable subscription. This means Creem is the seller of record for VAT, sales tax and chargeback purposes, and refunds are issued by Creem on our instruction. You can also contact Creem directly via creem.io to view your invoices, update your payment method, or open a billing dispute. We will work with Creem to resolve any payment-related issues you raise.

7. Statutory rights

This policy is in addition to, and does not affect, any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, the statutory rights described in section 1 apply regardless of anything stated elsewhere in this policy or the Terms of Service.
