Launch is getting close

LandTable is in its final pre-launch phase. This post sets expectations for what we are preparing to ship first, how access will open, and what will continue to improve after launch.

What to expect at initial release

At launch, LandTable is focused on the core workflows teams rely on every day:

  • Structured bases and tables with typed fields
  • Multiple views (Grid, Kanban, Gallery, Calendar)
  • Collaboration features, including presence and permissions
  • Workflow automations and notifications
  • Import/export tooling for spreadsheet-heavy teams
  • Security controls, including encryption at rest and 2FA

Security model (clear version)

LandTable uses strong encryption at rest (including AES-256-GCM for sensitive application data), transport encryption (TLS), and role-based access controls.

Where we need to be precise: LandTable does not claim universal end-to-end encryption for all product flows at this stage. The security model is encrypted-at-rest plus optional workspace-level owner-managed encryption for additional protection.

Rollout plan

Launch will happen in phases rather than a single all-at-once switch:

  1. Controlled onboarding and stability hardening.
  2. Broader account availability as performance and support capacity scale.
  3. Iterative feature expansion and operational tooling upgrades.

This phased release helps us protect reliability while usage grows. If you would like to be one of the first, join our waitlist.

What will continue to improve after launch

Post-launch work is expected to focus on:

  • Deeper observability and diagnostics
  • Expanded automation templates and reporting depth
  • Ongoing security hardening and migration rollouts
  • UX polish across admin and collaboration surfaces
